Job summary

Sun Life seeks a Sales Leader to coach and develop a high-potential advisor team within the Advisor Development Program. You will lead, mentor and mobilize insurance and wealth advisors, guiding onboarding, milestones and growth opportunities to build strong client outcomes.

This role emphasizes coaching, data-driven decision making and collaboration with field leadership. A hybrid work model, strong communication skills and bilingual capability (French/English) are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sales leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Distribution, Insurance and Wealth business.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and manage advisors in a performance-driven sales environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration across levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual (French & English) required for Canada/worldwide interactions.
• Licensing: CSC/IFIC or Life/ASI; MFDA Branch Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Insurance and/or Wealth licensed Advisors.
• Support onboarding and readiness of advisors with clear milestones.
• Develop early career advisors with skills, confidence, and business acumen.
• Provide guidance to accelerate advisor growth and transitions beyond the program.
• Manage day-to-day sales and service functions to hit results.
• Foster foundational sales capabilities and needs-based conversations.
• Monitor progress and tailor development plans with field leadership.
• Ensure advisor progression and successful transitions within Sun Life.
