GungHo Online Entertainment America, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate to support daily accounting operations, AP/AR, vendor invoices, and financial record-keeping. You will reconcile credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online and assist with routine reporting, under the Senior Accounting Manager.

This is a hybrid role with on-site and remote work options in California. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Japanese (written and verbal).
• Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, specifically entering/categorizing vendor bills, expenses, and credit card transactions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data aggregation, spreadsheets).
• Must have attention to detail with high accuracy in numerical data entry and audit-compliant documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review vendor bills for accuracy and assign GL accounts, enter bills into QuickBooks Online, and manage approval workflows.
• Review credit card transactions and receipts for accuracy, categorize expenditures, and enter into QuickBooks Online.
• Review employee expense reports for compliance, verify GL coding, and record approved reimbursements.
• Issue customer invoices, follow up on billing inquiries, and assist with receivables tracking.
• Compile and summarize recurring sales and revenue data for internal reporting.
• Serve as backup for daily operational tasks during the Senior Accounting Manager’s absence.
• Assist with routine accounting administrative duties and digital filing.
• Perform special projects and other duties as needed.
• Travel or work beyond normal hours when necessary.
