Job summary

Doumak, Inc. Elk Grove Village plant is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive productivity in a unionized setting. Strong English/Spanish communication is required to lead a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities include scheduling with IFS, coordinating breaks, addressing issues, and coordinating with QA and maintenance to keep lines running smoothly. A 4-year degree is preferred and experience with packaging machinery is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; 4-year college degree preferred.
• Requires bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience supervising in confectionary/food/pharma is required; 4+ years.
• Experience with IFS, SAP; GMPs, HACCP, OSHA knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and lead production teams.
• Coordinate production schedules; manage attendance and shift handovers.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation to meet targets.
• Utilize IFS ERP to assign floor schedules and monitor materials.
• Supervise and train employees; enforce company rules and GMPs.
• Communicate issues to maintenance and QA; track down causes and resolutions.
