Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Instruction Certificate, including Subject Area Endorsement is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate inclusive relationships with students, staff and community.
• Support belonging and academic success for all students, including traditionally marginalized groups.
• Foster social and emotional intelligence through classroom management and discussion.
• Teach assigned content effectively (general or specialists).
• Prepare daily instruction and weekly lesson plans per district programs.
• Collaborate with PLC to improve teaching and learning for all students.
• Integrate technology and interactive elements into instruction.
• Analyze student progress using district data and provide differentiated instruction.
• Build relationships with parents to update progress and learning needs.
• Prepare and assign personalized academic work per district policy.
• Grade and provide feedback, helping students set learning goals.
• Monitor and report student progress, including behavior.
• Maintain student records and paperwork as needed.
• Set personal and professional goals aligned with district vision.
• Attend professional development sessions and district meetings.
