Job summary

Motivate LLC is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to supervise battery swapping and charging teams for bikeshare operations in the New York City area. You will lead field and warehouse staff, drive safety and quality, and continuously improve processes to meet performance metrics.

The role focuses on evening shifts (3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Tue–Sat), with a strong emphasis on training, data-driven optimization, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising hourly field and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lead safety and quality control processes.
• Strong communication across diverse teams and with leadership.
• Proficient with MS Office and quick to learn new software.
• Driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and quality control processes for field and warehouse operations.
• Schedule and supervise battery swapping drivers and charging teams; ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Monitor shift performance to meet metrics; record and report daily operational data.
• Lead daily standups with shift goals and safety topics; drive continuous improvement.
