Job summary

Motivate is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee bike repair and maintenance operations for New York’s bikeshare system. You will empower technicians, coordinate daily activities, and drive safety and performance standards across the fleet.

This role requires supervisory experience with an hourly workforce in a union environment, strong organizational and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; flexibility with schedule and field operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising an hourly operations team, preferably in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop scheduling and daily management of bike technicians.
• Oversee hourly union workforce people management.
• Oversee routing of field teams for bike repairs and inspections.
• Ensure safety and quality control processes are in place and followed.
• Conduct metrics tracking, analyze results, and generate output reports.
