Job summary

CapMetro seeks a System Reliability Technician I to help keep Bikeshare running smoothly across the network. You will balance bicycles, keep e-bikes charged, perform in-field repairs, and report repairs for workshop work.

You’ll engage customers and support events, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable work environment for everyone. Responsibilities include field maintenance, asset condition checks, and collaboration with other technicians while working varied shifts, including nights

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of bicycle repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the past three years; Class B CDL preferred; complete driver safety course within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate a non-revenue van to move bicycles and swap batteries.
• Maintain and clean battery charging locations and facilities.
• Provide support for events with varied hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Assist higher-level technicians on complex operations or projects.
• Keep Bikeshare facilities clean and safe; use PPE in hazardous environments.
