Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Bike Delivery Courier for their UNC-Asheville location. In this role, you will be the face of the company, delivering cookies, milk, and ice cream while ensuring quality service. Responsibilities include checking orders and using the delivery app for accurate updates.

Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing late‑night sweet indulgence companies in the country. We’re actively interviewing for a Bike Delivery Courier at our UNC‑Asheville store located at 8 College Street, Asheville, NC.

As a Bike Courier, you are our “Boots on the ground!” and the main face our customers see outside the bakery. You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to fans wherever they are.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk, and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction, in person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to meet company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

Desired Skills / Experience

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the 1‑mile radius surrounding the store is a plus.
• Must have your own non‑motorized bicycle in working order (electronic bikes are not permitted).
• Must have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.
