Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Portland, ME is seeking a PM Shift Bike Courier to be the boots on the ground, delivering our Cookie Magic to fans around town. You’ll be the main face outside the bakery, delivering cookies and ice cream with a focus on timely, friendly service.

The role offers flexible part-time schedules, daily pay potential, and opportunities for growth within a fast‑growing brand. You’ll need your own bicycle, a smartphone, and to be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• PM/Late Night shift availability.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the 1-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus.
• Must have your own non-motorized bicycle in working order (electronic bikes are not permitted).
• Must have a smartphone with data plan.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fanbase, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

As a PM Shift Bike Courier, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.
