Job summary

Shimano North America Holding, Inc. is seeking a Bike OTC Trade Specialist to join the Bike Division in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on the IBD and Framebuilder channels, strengthening retailer relationships and ensuring efficient order handling.

You will collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and outside reps to implement programs, drive sales, and monitor performance while traveling for account meetings as required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in cycling/running industry in inside/outside sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and/or basic inventory and sales order management systems.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong customer focus and ability to develop relationships with retailers and key accounts.
• Leadership and team player abilities with strong organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement program terms for a specific customer, create sales strategies, and achieve monthly/yearly sales goals.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their needs.
• Lead problem-resolution with orders, status changes, and related issues.
• Coordinate cross-departmentally to resolve logistics, billing, warranty, and returns.
• Manage orders, forecast, monitor fill rates, and coordinate with warehouse staff.
• Provide same-day order entry before 2:00 pm and monitor accounts data needs.
• Forecasting, planning, and account resource allocation and strategy.
• Travel periodically for meetings, planning, and training.
