Big Data & Analytics is the Center of Excellence's data consulting and data engineering branch. Hundreds of data engineers and architects nowadays build data & analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and proof of concepts to full-scale implementation. We have customers in the healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and energy domains.

We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work on design, delivery, and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives
  • Address different business and technology challenges, and drive multiple initiatives as a part of the Center of Excellence
  • Act as a bridge between Sales and Delivery teams, advise, scope, develop, and accurately estimate new data-oriented engagements: from establishing high-level data strategy and governance, through data migrations and data processing pipelines, up to AI data foundations
  • Ensure delivered solutions align with customer requirements and have measurable ROI
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to support strategies and client engagements, expanding client understanding of data-focused Google Cloud possibilities
  • Serve as a Google Cloud Data subject matter expert in sales meetings and presentations
  • Build proposals with phased implementation strategies, tailoring responses to RFPs
  • Work with data engineering teams to demonstrate GCP-based Data & Analytics solutions aligned with sales and client goals
  • Identify the business challenges and map them to core Google Cloud capabilities and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Manage client relationships in a sales context, demonstrating long-term value
Required Skills
  • At least 5 years of pre-sales experience, focusing on solutions centered around (big) data and analytics
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with on-prem and cloud-based (GCP as the primary cloud provider) Big Data solutions (relevant certifications would be a plus)
  • Experience working with a variety of architectural methodologies, like Attribute Driven Design (ADD)
  • Proficiency in developing strategic sales plans, specifically for Google Cloud-based implementations of Data & Analytics systems, and digital transformations
  • Excellent communication skills for running pre-sales pitches, workshops, and delivering persuasive product demonstrations
  • Creativity in proposing Data & Analytics solutions, driven by innovative Centers of Excellence and phased implementation strategies
  • Passion for driving technology solutions tailored to industry business problems within the Google Cloud ecosystem
  • Strong client and partner relationship management skills, focusing on understanding and expanding client needs within the realm of Google Cloud
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate these insights into actionable sales strategies involving Google Cloud
  • Excitement to be a crucial player in the intersection of sales and technology, supporting strategic engagements with clients
  • Deep familiarity with the Google Cloud ecosystem and its data services
  • Experience in customer-facing engagements, presenting technical topics to executive audiences
  • Hands-on background in data engineering or solution architecture
  • Active involvement in innovation efforts or Centers of Excellence

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business IT, etc.)
  • Certifications: Relevant GCP certifications are a plus
