Job summary

Amentum is seeking engineering professionals to support Big Data analysis and modeling for Naval projects in Dahlgren, VA. On-site role in Dahlgren, with opportunity to work on SLBM-related systems.

You will join our systems and software engineering team, contribute across contracts in the Software Center of Excellence, and collaborate with customers and engineers to solve complex digital engineering challenges while applying Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or another applicable technical field, or equivalent experience in lieu of the education requirement.
• Must have an active Secret U.S. Government clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Candidate must maintain a valid REAL ID driver's license, required for access to the customer site, and have access to reliable transportation, as this position requires occasional travel between local work sites during the week.

• Support Naval projects/programs by conducting Big Data modeling within the SLBM weapon system.
• Primarily support a Senior Amentum developer in developing using Agile development principles.

• Work independently and collaboratively within established teams and across organizations to meet established goals within schedule-driven timelines.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Agile Development.
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineering personnel, and team members.

Amentum is seeking engineering professionals with education and/or experience to support Big Data analysis and modeling in support of Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This position is on-site in Dahlgren, VA, where Amentum has provided support to the customer for over 60 years.

You will be part of our growing systems and software engineering team and contribute your diverse skills across multiple software contracts in support of our Software Center of Excellence. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere who are eager to make a difference by solving complex Digital Engineering challenges. Apply your skills to the latest DoD weapons and sensor systems, modernizing the Navy and contributing to mission success.

Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact directly with customers and engineering personnel.

Big Data Model/Analyst Responsibilities Include:

Compensation Details:

US: $80,000-$130,000
