Job summary

Statsatl is seeking an entry-level server at Der Biergarten in Atlanta, GA to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will handle billing, provide menu education, and maintain quality and presentation throughout service.

The role requires friendly, professional interaction with guests and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Servers must consistently assess, anticipate and meet guests’ needs and respond quickly without losing focus.
• Clear, professional communication with guests, vendors, coworkers and management.
• Adapt to different guest and coworker personalities to maintain a positive team environment.
• Understand products, services and customer needs; strive to meet sales goals.
• Perform physical activities including standing for long periods and handling service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables for meals with linens, silverware and glassware.
• Perform light food preparation including bread, salads, appetizers and desserts.
• Greet guests and educate about menus, ingredients and cooking methods.
• Inform guests of daily specials.
• Check food and beverages for quality and presentation before serving.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Deliver wine tableside with proper corkage and pouring techniques.
• Receive guest payments and process transactions.
• Clear and clean tables per sanitation standards.
• Complete side duties: polishing silverware and restocking condiments.
