Nextek, Inc. in Madison, Alabama, is seeking a detail-oriented Bids & Proposals Manager to prepare accurate quotes for our electronics manufacturing services. You will coordinate with sales, production, engineering, and procurement to gather inputs and deliver timely proposals that meet customer requirements.

You will develop labor models, track quote KPIs, and maintain pricing templates while ensuring compliance with company policies. A strong background in EMS quoting is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing is required.
• Proven experience in quoting, sales support, or customer service roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM/quoting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of pricing strategies and cost structures.
• B.S./B. or equivalent in experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFQ/Quote process end-to-end.
• Develop processes to scale RFQ/Quotes.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes based on specs and pricing guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales, production, engineering, and procurement.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage the entire RFQ/Quote Process from RFQ Receipt to Final Proposal Offer
• Develop a streamlined process & Systems to accommodate an increase in demand for RFQs/Quotes
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes to customers based on product specifications, pricing guidelines, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, production, engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary information for quote preparation.
• Track and Report KPIs for quotes. Integrate metrics into CRM (D365) as needed.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quotation templates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding quotes and provide clarifications as needed.
• Track and follow up on outstanding quotes to support sales conversion.Assist in analyzing quote data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop Labor Models and Write Detailed Proposals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all quoting activities.

Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required

• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing, preferred Quoting experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services
• Proven experience in quoting, sales support, or customer service role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM or quoting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
