Job summary

Nextek, Inc. seeks a detail-orientedconsolidation/coordinator to support the purchasing and production flow in our Alabama facility. You will review sales orders, coordinate part deliveries, and expedite supplier POs to keep schedules on track.

Candidates should have ERP/MRP experience, strong English communication, and the ability to interact with internal and external customers while maintaining accuracy in records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs.
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficient use of ERP or MRP software.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
• Coordinate delivery of parts to meet production schedules.
• Support purchasing department.
• Expedite supplier POs as needed.
• Use ERP to auto‑generate manufacturing work orders.
• Release work orders to warehouse for kitting.
• Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing to address shortages.
• Notify Sales/Programs of schedule impacts to customers.
• Coordinate/expedite builds to meet schedules.
• Complete status reports on production progress and inventory.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
• Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
• Support purchasing department.
• Expedite suppliers purchase orders if required.
• Utilize ERP system to auto‑generate manufacturing work order.
• Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for kitting.
• Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing to address material shortages.
• Notify Sales/Programs of any schedule impacts to customers.
• Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved.
• Complete status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory

Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required

• Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
• In‑depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software required.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Must be a US citizen.
