Bid Management Digitalization & Process Improvement Specialist

W2 contract opportunity, 12 months with extension or conversion potential.

Open to candidates in Raleigh‑Durham, NC or Orlando, FL.

We are partnering with a global, industry‑leading organization to support the addition of a Bid Management Digitalization & Process Improvement Specialist to their proposal operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of process optimization, digital tools, and cross‑functional collaboration.

This position plays a critical role in improving how bids and proposals are developed, tracked, and delivered by introducing smarter processes, automation, and data‑driven insights.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Lead and support digital transformation initiatives within the bid and proposal function
• Analyze existing bid and proposal workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline repetitive and manual tasks
• Develop and maintain dashboards, templates, and tools to support proposal tracking and performance metrics
• Partner closely with proposal managers, sales, operations, operational excellence, and IT teams to align improvements with business needs
• Document and standardize proposal processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance
• Support change management efforts, including training team members on new tools and processes
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously recommend enhancements

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in bid management, process improvement, digitalization, operations support, or a similar function
• Hands‑on experience with automation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel (macros), SharePoint, or workflow platforms
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
• Exposure to proposal development within technical, industrial, or engineering‑driven environments is strongly preferred
