Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Pricing Leader in Rochester, MN to drive pricing proposals for new and retained business. You will prepare bid pricing and analyses, coordinate bid proposals, and determine pricing decisions for client accounts while ensuring data integrity across reports and analyses.

• Assure the integrity of financial and statistical data through reports, schedules or analyses.
• Communicate and present information to various audiences and act as a pricing SME.

Job description

Responsible for leading and facilitating the activities that go into producing a pricing proposal that is used to secure new business, as well as retain existing business. Daily activities include the preparation of bid pricing, test level client pricing, bid analysis, analytic reporting and special pricing requests. Coordinates incoming bid proposals and determines the pricing decisions for client accounts. Assures the integrity of financial and statistical data that may have a significant institutional impact, via preparation and review of reports, schedules, worksheets, or other analyses. Provides leadership in a team environment while supporting complex, ambiguous and highly visible pricing activities and projects. Actively communicates and presents information to various audiences. Is relied upon as a subject matter expert who can recognize problems, formulate solutions and implement change. Uses Pricing expertise to provide recommendations to sales staff, internal departments and leadership in support of MCL business strategy and success. Must have the ability to work with and communicate with people from diverse functional backgrounds and build relationships across the organization.
