Job summary

ACM Global Laboratories seeks a Proposals Analyst Pre Award to support Clinical Trials proposal and budget generation. You will assist with pricing strategy, collaborate with global affiliates, and help standardize RFI processes while ensuring timely client deliverables.

You will interact with global teams and clinical development staff, contributing to competitive pricing and contract documentation awareness. This remote role prioritizes cross-border collaboration and accurate budgeting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or 3–8 years CRO/central laboratory/clinical trials experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Business or Sales Support setting.
• Pricing knowledge and understanding of contractual documents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review protocols and RFP materials to determine pricing and proposal strategy with Global Head.
• Assist with proposal generation strategy to optimize sales.
• Coordinate pricing strategy with global affiliates to align on pricing.
• Support development and maintenance of SOPs for proposals and budgets.
• Centralize and standardize RFIs for efficient responses.
• Contribute to global pricing strategy and ensure consistency across labs.
• Facilitate clear communication between global labs and ACM Central Laboratory on pricing and proposals.
• Ensure timely delivery of proposal generation and participate in client defense meetings as needed.

Job Title: Proposals Analyst Pre Award

Department: Proposals & Contracts

Location: Remote, United States

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday

SUMMARY

The Proposals Analyst assists with all functions of Clinical Trials Proposal and Budget generation, providing support for all Clinical Trials Business Development staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review clinical protocols and Request for Proposal (RFP) materials upon receipt to determine pricing and Proposal strategy, in conjunction with Head, Global Proposals and Contracts.
• Assist the Head, Global Proposals and Contracts, in strategy pertaining to Proposal generation in order to optimize sales.
• Liaise between ACM and global affiliates to determine global pricing strategy.
• Assist with all areas of Proposal and Budget development, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Centralize and standardize Requests for Information (RFI).
• Assist in the strategy creation and execution for global pricing.
• Assist to ensure global consistency of global laboratory pricing.
• Assist to ensure clear communication between global laboratory partners and ACM Global Central Laboratory, as it pertains to pricing and proposals.
• Ensure all Proposal generation for timely delivery to clients; interact with clients and participate in defense meetings, as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS, or 3-8 years equivalent work experience in CRO, central laboratory or clinical trials required
• 2 years’ experience in Business or Sales Support setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in excel
• Understanding of pricing and contractual documents desirable
• Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
• Experience with industry leading tools such as Zymewire, Biopharma Insight, Sales Navigator, and/or LinkedIn preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary - Sedentary roles are primarily office-based and require prolonged sitting (67–100% of the workday) with minimal physical effort and lifting limited to under 10 lbs. Fine motor skills are necessary for computer work, writing, and telephone use, supported by clear visual and auditory ability. Cognitive and emotional demands are high due to extended concentration, frequent interruptions, independent decision-making, and information processing. Although physical exposure is low, administrative areas within healthcare environments may occasionally involve contact with infectious agents. Some roles may require flexible hours, TB screening, or a valid driver’s license. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.

PAY RANGE

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00

The posted pay range is a good faith representation of potential base pay for this position. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates could vary based on position details and FTE. Pay is determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, locations, and contracts.
