Position Overview
The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for managing the Dredging Division’s bid proposal processes by developing and executing all phases of the same. This role requires the ability to meet deadlines, establish internal deliverables from the project team, and provide detailed follow-through. This position also includes supporting the Estimating group with large, complex bids.

District Overview
Weeks, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, is an industry leader in dredging, providing turnkey services throughout North America. Dredging is vital to maintain waterways, infrastructure, and coastlines. Weeks provides a comprehensive dredging services lifecycle, specializing in capital and maintenance dredging for navigation, coastal restoration, and protection.

Location
This position is based out of Covington, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prequalification sources sought and submittals, bid packages, bonding requirements, and other bidding information.
• Manage the RFP and RFI lifecycle from drafting proposals to tracking deliverables to meet client deadlines.
• Marketing and branding for conferences.
• File management.
• Update CRM with current bids and track future opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Self-sufficient with minimal guidance, able to work independently.
• Experience with proposal processes and understanding IFB/RFP/RFQ details.
• Proficient in standard office software.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week, M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Willingness to travel.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
