Transportation Specialist I, Bicycle Sign & Wayfinding Coordinator, at NYC DOT, leads planning and management of bike regulatory signage and the Bicycle Wayfinding Program. The role works with TC&E and other units to support field investigations and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of traffic engineering, project organization, and proficiency with SIMS and Adobe Illustrator. NYC residency is typically required.

• Alternative degree routes with progressively more relevant experience.
• Commitment to bicycle signage and field investigations as core duties.

Mansioni

• Conduct field investigations and document existing conditions and issues.
• Review bicycle signage network plans and siting of citywide bike signage.
• Collaborate with agencies and supervise staff, if applicable.
• Review and approve work orders; ensure signage complies with guidelines.
• Utilize SIMS for data entry and program administration.
