Responsibilities include completing substitute training, delivering lessons, maintaining a safe classroom, tracking attendance, and coordinating with teachers and volunteers to support LifeWise programs in local communities.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Statement.
• Active participation in a local church.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance in each class and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
