Job summary

Jobtailor in Arlington, VA is seeking a seasoned BI Leader to guide a team of analysts and developers, shaping the BI strategy and ensuring data quality across government dashboards and reports.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission objectives into BI requirements, oversee ETL, data modeling, and visualizations, and present insights to senior government stakeholders. A U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7 years of business intelligence experience.
• 3 years of team leadership experience.
• Experience with ETL tools such as AB Initio.
• Experience with dashboard and data visualization tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI, Project, Visio, etc.
• Experience with reporting tools, preferably Oracle OBIA/OAP, OAS, and OBIEE.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle RDBMS 19c.
• Expertise in BI leadership, data strategy, team management, stakeholder communication, and technical oversight.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent BI certification desired.
• Experience with Kibana, Kafka, GoAnywhere, and Oracle Data Guard is a plus.
• Experience leading BI teams supporting DoD or federal agency programs.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL pipeline design.
• Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar enterprise BI platforms.
