Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Business Intelligence Solutions Developer to design, build, test, and deploy BI tools that turn data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with analysts and developers to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions and support ongoing training and implementation.

Required are a Bachelor's in a related field and 3 years of BI experience, with strong SQL and BI tool proficiency (Qlik/PowerBI). Epic certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, business intelligence, STEM, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) years of BI solutions development and analysis experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Certification in one or more EPIC applications preferred.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Experience with BI technologies (Qlik, PowerBI, Lumira, BOBJ, R, SAS, Python).
• Ability to design custom data models and apply advanced analytics methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI solutions and tools to meet customer needs.
• Support the implementation and training of new BI solutions.
• Build historical data models, analyze trends, and assess KPI impacts.
• Monitor BI usage and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Write BI solutions using appropriate languages for each use case.
• Identify, debug, and remedy BI solution issues.
• Follow project scope, timelines, and design standards.
• Provide analytical insight beyond displayed data.
• Uphold TMCH values and safety policies.
