Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst to own end-to-end reporting projects within the Sales Data Science team. The role combines data analysis, dashboard development, and storytelling to empower senior leadership with actionable insights.

The position is hybrid (3 days onsite in Mountain View, CA and 2 days remote). Candidates should have 3+ years in BI visualization (Tableau/Qlik Sense) and strong SQL/Python skills, plus experience with ETL and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in developing visualization solutions in BI tools Tableau or Qlik Sense.
• Strong SQL and Python experience for data querying and modeling.
• Experience building dashboards and data storytelling for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, visualizations, and dashboards to deliver business insights.
• Manage a repository of reusable data visualization templates and views.
• Proactively discover and improve data sources, and build pipelines or perform ETL when needed.
• Gather, clean, consolidate, and productionalize large datasets from our databases to support dashboards and the team's analytics needs.
• Design and analyze A/B tests using test-and-control methodologies, and perform performance attribution to measure impact.
• Perform ad hoc analyses as necessary.

Looking for a BI Reporting Analyst

Hybrid Roles in Mountain View, CA - 3 days Onsite/2 days Remote

Duration: 11+ months with possibility of longer term extensions

Pay Rate: $60 - $62/hr

No C2C or 1099 - Must be able to work directly on our W2 with no 3rd party involved!

Role:

We are seeking a self-starter who can own projects end-to-end in the Sales Data Science team supporting Money Sales.

Skills: Will be tested in SQL and Python on Glider or similar platforms. (NOT OPEN BOOK)

3+ years of experience in developing visualization solutions in BI tools Tableau or Qlik Sense

A/B Testing experience.

3+ years of advanced SQL with data warehouses Databricks Redshift SparkSQL Athena including segmentation and aggregation from scratch.

Experience using AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools.

Claude/Cursor Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities under strict deadlines and to scale and build AI-enabled solutions.

Experience with HTML for document formatting and data storytelling

Education

Undergraduate degree preferred Computer Science/Management Information Systems or related field desired
