Job summary

Signify Technology is seeking a BI Reporting Analyst for a 12-month contract in Mountain View, CA. The role sits on a sales-focused data science team and involves turning large, messy datasets into reporting and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

You will build dashboards, perform advanced SQL queries against cloud warehouses, and collaborate across sales, ops and data teams to drive outcomes with minimal hand-holding.

Qualifications

• Dashboard and visualization experience in BI tools (Tableau or Qlik Sense).
• Advanced SQL against cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Redshift, SparkSQL or Athena).
• Experience sourcing, cleaning and consolidating large datasets and building ETL pipelines.
• Designing and analyzing A/B tests with test-and-control methods.
• Python for analysis and automation.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics tools (Claude or Cursor).
• Able to frame ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.
• Capable of managing multiple workstreams to tight deadlines with cross-team collaboration.

The role sits close to the commercial side of the business, turning large and messy datasets into reporting and analysis that senior stakeholders actually use to make decisions. It suits someone who takes a question, works out how to answer it, and runs the work through to a finished deliverable without much hand-holding.

Requirements

• Strong track record building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in a BI tool, with Tableau or Qlik Sense preferred
• Advanced SQL against cloud data warehouses such as Databricks, Redshift, SparkSQL or Athena, including writing segmentation and aggregation logic from scratch
• Experience sourcing, cleaning and consolidating large datasets, and building pipelines or ETL to productionize them
• Designing and analyzing A/B tests using test-and-control methodology, plus performance attribution to measure impact
• Python for analysis and automation
• Hands-on use of AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools such as Claude or Cursor
• Ability to frame ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and present the findings clearly to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable owning multiple workstreams to tight deadlines and partnering across sales, ops and data teams
