Job summary

Forsyth Barnes partners with a recognised consumer products organisation to appoint a Business Intelligence Manager. You will shape reporting and analytics across sales, product performance, customer behaviour, inventory and operations on a global scale.

You will set BI priorities, strengthen data governance and translate complex information into actionable insights for senior stakeholders, leading dashboards and self‑service analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in business intelligence, analytics and commercial reporting leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver reporting strategies across a complex organisation.
• Solid data modelling, dashboard design and measurement capability.
• Technical confidence with data platforms, tools and analytical tech.
• Practical understanding of retail, manufacturing, inventory or supply chain metrics.
• Ability to translate senior questions into clear analytic approaches.
• Experience improving data governance, data quality and self‑service adoption.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a BI roadmap aligned with commercial, customer, supply chain and manufacturing priorities.
• Lead development of executive dashboards, recurring performance reporting and self‑service analytics tools.
• Translate complex business problems into structured analysis and clear recommendations.
• Partner with Retail, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product stakeholders.
• Establish consistent data definitions, quality controls and reporting standards.
• Analyze revenue, margin, demand, inventory and customer activity to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage BI delivery priorities balancing urgent requests with scalable solutions.
• Present commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders and track outcomes.
