Job summary

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Business Intelligence & Insights Analyst in Cary, NC to transform data into actionable business insights. You will develop analytical solutions, reporting, and geospatial intelligence to drive growth and improve customer experience across Caterpillar's Building Construction Products division.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, build BI tools, and promote data-driven practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in analytics, business, economics, statistics, geography, information systems, data science, marketing analytics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, GIS, data visualization, or related disciplines.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ArcGIS, Esri products, or other GIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Generate actionable business insights through analysis of retail, dealer, customer, and operational performance data to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance BI solutions, including Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Conduct geospatial and market opportunity analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform dealer network strategies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Drive analytics adoption and user enablement with training, support, and best practices.
• Support cross-functional transformation initiatives through data analysis and process improvement.
