Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a data analytics professional to join Cat Digital. You will gather stakeholder requirements for equipment-management applications, analyze large datasets, and deliver insights to inform decisions and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities include building reports and dashboards, documenting technical specs, and supporting senior analysts with data requests. Located in Chicago, Peoria, or Denver-area offices, relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience querying and analyzing large data sets with Snowflake or similar tools (2+ years).
• Design and prototype dynamic views and visualizations in Tableau/Power BI (2+ years).
• Deliver production-grade data solutions and dashboards with accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and delivering reports and dashboards.
• Analyze offerings, prepare technical documentation, and recommend upgrades.
• Identify user requirements for reports/dashboards and define specs.
• Prepare documentation and share with senior analysts; execute delivery.
• Support senior analysts by fulfilling data requests and providing technical help.
