Job summary

Amazon's North America Supply Chain seeks a skilled BI Engineer to own the analytics backbone for workforce planning. You will build data pipelines and dashboards used by planners to allocate labor hours and optimize labor spend across NASC.

You will work at the intersection of data engineering, BI, and operational planning, delivering repeatable data products and robust datasets with clear documentation and strong data governance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Cognos).
• Experience gathering business requirements and building reports.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
• Understanding of improving BI performance (speed, cost, reliability).
• Experience designing end-to-end data solutions for planning and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards and automated reports for production planning metrics.
• Collaborate with NASC Operations, Workforce Staffing, Network Design and Planning to deliver insights.
• Design, build, and deploy data pipelines using Python, SQL, AWS Lambda, Athena and Redshift.
• Build and maintain curated datasets as single source of truth for capacity planning.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual data processing.
• Maintain clear documentation of data sources and transformation rules.
