Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to build end-to-end BI solutions for global recruiting analytics. You will design scalable dashboards and reports, and work with large multi-TB datasets across diverse sources.

The role requires 6+ years in SQL/ETL, data warehousing, and automation, with expertise in Python and machine learning techniques to drive data-informed decisions. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and RSUs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
• 6+ years of developing automated reporting experience
• 6+ years of using SQL, ETL, or Oracle
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
• Experience with information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
• 6+ years as a Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer or related occupation
• 6+ years of using SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards that will support analytical and business needs
• Write high quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables (e.g. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle)
• Partner with business owners, tech and central teams to integrate machine-learning and automation into scaling our programs
• Work on the cutting edge of GenAI/ML for proactive and predictive analytics to de-risk recruiting and talent decisions
• Create forecasting models for workforce planning and organizational health data
