Job summary

Amazon seeks a BIE II to drive AI-powered analytics and decision systems at scale from data to deployed insights. You will own end-to-end analytics, design scalable data models, and partner with Data Scientists and SDEs to deploy predictive models and AI agents into business workflows.

The role goes beyond dashboards, focusing on production-ready outputs, model evaluation, and explainability for real-time operations. Bellevue, WA is a key location with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• 1+ years SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 1+ years processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
• 1+ years performing statistical analysis.
• 1+ years developing automated reporting.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• Experience using SQL to pull data and Python scripting for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Developing performant ETL pipelines.
• Defining metrics and experimentation frameworks.
• Building intuitive reporting layers surfacing descriptive and predictive insights.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and System Development Engineers to integrate predictive models and AI agents into business workflows.
• Explain outputs to ensure outputs are accurate, explainable, and actionable.
