Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join a high-visibility analytics team focused on devices forecasting. You will build reporting objects, develop ETL pipelines, and support dashboards across Tableau and AWS QuickSight, partnering with product owners to answer key questions.

The role requires strong data analysis, data modeling, and the ability to work with structured and unstructured data in a fast-paced, Day 1 environment. Bellevue/Seattle location preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Interface with product managers, data engineers and software developers, gather requirements and deliver complete analytics/reporting solutions.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of datasets, metrics, reports, analyses, etc. to drive key business decisions.
• Build and maintain Tableau or Quicksight Dashboards. Create data cubes and automated pipelines to power these dashboards.
• Help product teams with analytical deep dives to help support MBRs.
