Job summary
Quanex is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer in Akron, OH to gather requirements, develop, implement, and maintain BI solutions that support data-driven decision making. You will work with various business units to define BI requirements and translate them into robust reports and dashboards.
You will partner with DBAs and IT teams to architect the back-end data structures, ensure data accuracy, and optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related area with 4–6 years of BI experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft BI Stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
- Strong SQL, data manipulation, and data modeling skills.
- Experience with SSIS, Talend, or other data integration tools.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards with SSRS/Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and translate them into robust BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop reliable ETL processes and data models to support reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and performance of BI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, DBAs, and IT teams.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
