Qualifications

• Degree or technical training in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions using Power BI.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), OLAP, or related Microsoft reporting technologies is beneficial.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and its use as a business analysis and reporting tool.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools using Power BI, SSRS, Excel, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Transform transactional data from operational systems into structured datasets and data models designed for reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain reporting tables, views, transformations, measures, calculations, and other data structures for trusted information.
• Develop reporting solutions that support organization-wide performance measurement with drill-down to operations, customers, locations, or departments.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models, measures, reports, and dashboards.
• Promote self-service analytics by providing understandable, documented datasets usable through Excel, Power BI, and Reporting Services.
• Administer Power BI workspaces, applications, refreshes, distribution, usage, and security access.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing reporting solutions, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and performance.
• Establish consistent definitions for key business measures and governance-aligned data concepts.
• Coach users on interpreting data and incorporating it into day-to-day management.
• Identify data quality issues and collaborate with developers and users to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain documentation for datasets, rules, definitions, and reports.
• Explore AI-enabled analytics and other emerging technologies to improve access to trusted information.
