Job summary

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Operations Manager in West Des Moines, IA. You will oversee BI reporting development, coordinate with analytics AVP and QA to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and testing standards.

You will lead a BI team, manage priorities and releases, and collaborate with IT to support data warehouse requirements while driving process improvements and ROI-focused decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–8 years of direct project management experience leading medium to large business and technical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, PM or related field; Associates degree required.
• Must work well with all levels of the organization and influence others; Six Sigma and PM certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages scope, prioritization, scheduling, requirements, and delivery of BI reporting work and releases.
• Provides leadership and coaching to BI team members for accurate and timely delivery.
• Coordinates with Analytics AVP to understand data needs and dependencies; ensures data availability for analytics.
