Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with analytics, marketing and business leaders to design, develop, and deliver custom reporting for Convenience Retail and Major Oil verticals.

You will act as SME for these verticals, translate customer needs into technical solutions, supervise external resources, and maintain BI solutions on the Azure data platform, collaborating with CRM teams to build audience insights for campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of BI/Analytics experience.
• 3–5 years on a BI or analytics team with BI principles and standards.
• Strong SQL knowledge (T-SQL and Spark SQL).
• Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing and Power BI (DAX).
• Azure data platform familiarity (Synapse, Databricks, ADLS Gen2).
• Exposure to ETL/orchestration tools like Data Factory/Databricks Workflows.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Build audience segments for targeted communications across Email, SMS, and push.
• Collaborate with CRM to transfer audiences to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Serve as SME for Convenience Retail and Major Oil analytics solutions.
• Develop reports and dashboards in Sigma Computing and Power BI.
• Write and tune SQL to prepare, transform, and validate data for reporting.
• Ensure reports meet business requirements and are scalable.
• Assist leadership and operations on service design and delivery.
• Create one-time reports and data extracts as requested.
