The BI Business Analyst at The Cheesecake Factory will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing data, and delivering reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making.

This role requires 5+ years in BI/analytics, strong SQL, and experience with MicroStrategy or Tableau. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or related area.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
• Experience using BI and visualization tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, processes, KPIs, and data definitions.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional or technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, along with applicable technical certifications and experience supporting technology-related functions.

The BI Business Analyst

reports to the Senior BI Manager and serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will gather and translate business requirements, analyze complex data, and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that support informed decision-making across the organization.

What We Require

What We Prefer

• Restaurant or hospitality industry experience.
• Project management experience or certification.
• Experience with modern or cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience using Python or advanced Excel analytics.
