This role partners with Operations Leadership, ensures compliance with employment laws, and helps leaders navigate complex workplace situations while upholding our culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Employee Relations/Investigations experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment law.
• Knowledgeable of Human Resources best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-depth investigations into harassment and policy breaches.
• Advise stakeholders on personnel policies and employment laws.
• Resolve staff complaints and guide supervisors through policy.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local laws.

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.

Compensation Range

$71,000 - $81,000 / Year

The Staff Relations Specialist

serves as a trusted advisor to restaurant operators and plays a key role in fostering a respectful, compliant, and inclusive workplace. Working closely with the Staff Relations Manager, you will investigate concerns involving harassment, discrimination, and other employee relations matters; support disciplinary and termination decisions; interpret and apply company policies; and provide guidance that helps leaders navigate complex workplace situations while upholding our culture, values, and commitment to compliance.

• Execute in-depth investigations, covering a wide range of business and HR matters like harassment and policy breaches, ensuring meticulous and impartial results.
• Provide insightful support and guidance to key stakeholders, Operations Leadership, and employees on personnel practices, policies, and employment laws, with clear recommended actions.
• Handle diverse tasks with expertise, from resolving staff complaints to guiding supervisors and employees on policy and procedure interpretation.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, using your knowledge to uphold all federal, state, local, and company guidelines and laws.
• Embody the company’s core mission and values, promoting integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
• Develop critical reports using the case management system, Ethics Point, for comprehensive analysis and actionable insights.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to support investigative findings, ensuring accurate and meaningful conclusions.
• Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures, aligning all actions with company and legal requirements.

What We Require

• 1+ years of Employee Relations/Investigations experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
• Knowledgeable of Human Resources best practices

• Ability to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understanding in a business environment with a diverse employee base
