Job summary

Communication Service for the Deaf, Inc is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and support enterprise dashboards, data models, and automation workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders and IT to deliver trusted, governed data and self-service analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing KPIs, reporting, and data pipelines while ensuring security, data quality, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/BI or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience building BI, analytics, or data solutions.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in a modern BI platform.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports, using modern development tools, including AI-assisted tools, to work efficiently.
• Build and maintain semantic models, data marts, and reporting datasets that provide a consistent source of truth.
• Develop KPIs, metrics, and executive reporting aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with business units to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Improve self-service analytics capabilities by creating reusable datasets, documentation, and user-friendly reporting experiences.
• Design, deploy workflow automations that reduce repetitive manual processes using low-code tools.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across operations, knowledge management, customer service, and internal productivity.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted tools, and recommend practical applications aligned with objectives.
• Monitor the performance of automated solutions and continuously improve accuracy, usability, and business value.
• Develop and maintain secure integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, cloud services, and reporting platforms.
• ETL/ELT processes that ensure timely, accurate data availability.
• Optimize SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Support data governance by maintaining metadata and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with application owners to ensure data consistency across systems.
