Medline Industries, LP offers a hands-on BI Development/Analytics Internship in the Chicago area. You will develop and maintain enterprise BI solutions, gather requirements, and support data-driven decision making through dashboards and reports.

The role emphasizes teamwork, exposure to data warehousing, and real-world projects during a 10-week summer program open to rising seniors. Office-based internship with networking and leadership events.

Qualifications

GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Understanding of ETL methodologies.
Basic knowledge of data visualization tools Tableau/Power BI/Qlik and SQL.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and create business requirement documents.
Design, develop, and implement new dashboards.
Develop analytical (tabular) reports.
Debug and optimize existing data flows and reports.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal customers and IT partners on BI requirements.
Identify and interpret trends in complex data and translate into actionable insights.
