Medline Industries, Inc. is offering a 10-week Business Intelligence Development/Analytics Internship in the Chicagoland area. The role focuses on developing and maintaining enterprise BI solutions, data warehousing, and reporting.

You’ll translate business needs into dashboards and analytical reports while partnering with IT and internal customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with data trends, requirements gathering, and testing, with exposure to social and networking events, leadership

Qualifications

Pursuing junior status with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Understanding of basic data storage and ETL methodologies and techniques.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and SQL.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and create business requirement documents.
Design, develop, and implement new dashboards.
Develop analytical (tabular) reports.
Debug and/or optimize existing data flows and reports.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal customers and IT partners to analyze BI requirements and propose solutions.
Identify trends in complex data and translate analyses into concrete recommendations.
