Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in the Chicago area is seeking a Business Intelligence Development/Analytics Intern to help build and maintain enterprise BI solutions, data warehousing, and reporting. You will gather business requirements and translate them into dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of data storage and ETL methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and SQL.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and create business requirement documents.
• Design, develop, and implement new dashboards.
• Develop analytical (tabular) reports.
• Debug and optimize existing data flows and reports.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal customers and IT partners to analyze BI requirements and propose solutions.
• Identify trends in data and translate analyses into actionable recommendations.
