Job summary

Altec is seeking a collaborative, analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to partner with business teams across the enterprise and deliver trusted analytics solutions. You will support the Qlik reporting environment and help define data products in Snowflake, ensuring data is created, transformed, secured, and used across business processes.

You will work closely with stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Data Governance to define requirements, document logic, test data, and guide data products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of experience.
• Alternative: exceptional candidates with 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated analytics partner for assigned business groups, building relationships and understanding business processes, priorities, and data needs.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, metrics, KPIs, business rules, data ownership, and success criteria for analytics and data product efforts.
• Lead the design and definition of data products that can be reused across reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making processes.
• Document source systems, business logic, data definitions, calculations, assumptions, quality expectations, and known limitations.
• Act as the project owner for assigned data product releases by coordinating work from intake through production release.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to implement curated, governed data products
• Support and maintain Qlik applications, including troubleshooting, enhancements, operational support, and user guidance.
