Job summary

The Chemico Group is seeking a Business Systems & Analytics Analyst to develop, maintain, and improve BI solutions that support operational, financial, and supply chain decision-making. You will partner with stakeholders across departments to analyze processes, troubleshoot data issues, develop dashboards, automate reporting, and provide actionable metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, systems analysis, or related field.
• Advanced Power BI experience including: DAX, data modeling, report publishing.
• Strong SQL skills including: data validation, query optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including: Power Query, lookup functions, data analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as CONTPAQ, Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, datasets, and reporting tools.
• Design and implement KPIs and operational metrics.
• Automate recurring reports and business processes where possible.
• Create proactive alerts and monitoring tools to identify exceptions and trends.
• Ensure reporting accuracy through data validation and reconciliation.
• Analyze operational, financial, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Investigate data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Interpret data and present insights to business leaders.
• Support strategic decision-making through ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Analyze current business processes and translate requirements into system/reporting solutions.
• Lead or support implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• Support and troubleshoot CONTPAQ ERP and Flowtrac Inventory Management System.
