Job summary

Blum is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design and maintain reporting and dashboards across project teams and corporate functions. The role focuses on turning data from ERP, project management, and document systems into actionable insights while automating repetitive tasks.

You will own the data warehouse end-to-end, implement data quality checks, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable BI solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in building BI reporting in a production environment.
• Experience publishing reporting on a major BI platform including query and calculation layers.
• Proficiency writing queries against relational databases (joins, aggregations, window functions).
• Design of dimensional data models (fact and dimension tables) and version-controlled SQL transformations.
• Knowledge of row-level security and data model design on a BI platform.
• Ability to build automated workflows including approval routing.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage concurrent requests and communicate status.
• Ability to explain technical work to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reporting and dashboards for project teams and corporate departments.
• Maintain the published reporting portfolio with refresh schedules and access management.
• Build data models that enable self-service analysis for end users.
• Apply brand standards to reports and client-facing deliverables.
• Implement row-level security so users see appropriate regions and measures.
• Ensure reports render correctly on phones and tablets.
• Design, build, test and maintain automated workflows replacing manual data entry.
• Convert form/spreadsheet workflows to web-based processes with approvals and audit history.
• Document automation with process maps and owners.

Education

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business, engineering, construction management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
