Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop complex analytical dashboards and reporting solutions for partners and management.
• Establish standards for reporting and determine centralized data sources.
• Develop KPIs and business rules for BI applications and drive data accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT for infrastructure support and with embedded analysts in admin departments.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support BI solutions to solve business problems.
• Coordinate with business functions to implement BI solutions and benchmarks.

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence Analytics Analyst. Reports to the Manager, Business Intelligence Analytics, assists with identifying Firm BI needs and then designs and develops solutions, including complex reports and dashboard development, that drive value for the Firm. This position will reside in our Philadelphia office and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assists in developing complex analytical dashboards and reporting solutions for partners, legal staff, firm management, and administrative users
• Assists in developing standards for reporting.
• Assists in determining requirements for centralized, governed data sources and develop processes to ensure accuracy of data.
• Develops key performance indicators to meet the requirements of key business drivers.
• Implement business rules in applicable BI applications.
• Work with business functions to identify and implement BI solutions to solve specific business problems.
• Develop statistical modelling and analysis work required for BI solutions.
• Assist in determining appropriate benchmarks for identified firm goals.
• Develop complex dashboards and reporting solutions for partners, legal staff, firm management, and administrative users.
• Coordinate with IT department for infrastructure and database support.
• Coordinate with and support embedded analysts in other firm administrative departments (for example, analysts in Practice Operations department).
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical proficiency with reporting and analytics tools, including Excel, Power BI, Access/VBA, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSRS, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Experience with Elite Financial Systems is preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, solve problems, and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret metrics, ratios, percentages, graphs, and charts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
