Sundt is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst 1 to support data analytics and reporting under supervision. This entry-level role focuses on building foundational BI skills by creating reports, dashboards, and basic data analysis, while learning requirements gathering, data modeling, and visualization best practices.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting or BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or expected.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.
• Internship or academic projects using BI tools and SQL are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting processes and maintaining knowledge base articles.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their processes.
• Communicate project status and challenges to senior team members.
• Coordinate with users who test new applications and obtain sign-off.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports per specs.
• Seek opportunities to learn and expand technical capabilities.
• Learn and apply Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
• Participate in requirements gathering and document stakeholder needs.
• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
• Update reports/dashboards with new data sources or minor changes.
• Collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback.
