Job summary

AOPA in Frederick, MD is hiring a Business Analyst I to support accurate reporting across the Association. You will collaborate with teams to collect, validate, and visualize data that informs operations and strategy.

You’ll develop dashboards in Salesforce and Tableau, analyze engagement with Google Analytics and BigQuery, and translate findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of professional analytics experience.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of data sources and techniques; identify and analyze relevant information.
• Proficient in MS SQL.
• Experience with BigQuery, Python, R.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics, and web traffic data.
• Data visualization with Tableau and Power BI.
• Ability to translate complex findings for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills; collaborative in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and deliver results to inform leadership decisions.
• Define and track KPIs for acquisition, conversion, engagement, and usage.
• Provide custom audience pulls for departments.
• Monitor website traffic and user behavior with GA and related tools.
• Segment audiences and analyze user journeys for outreach and personalization.
• Build audience models for stakeholders.
• Ensure proper tagging and data integrity across platforms.
• Develop automation to streamline data collection and reporting.
• Create custom datasets in Salesforce to address data gaps.
• Respond to analytics requests from across the organization.
• Collaborate to turn raw data into actionable insights.
• Support policy and decision making with data-driven recommendations.
• Design dashboards in Salesforce and Tableau for monitoring metrics.
• Contribute to data governance and operational metrics.
