Job summary

Parasail is seeking a data analytics professional to design and own the data layer behind fleet economics, capacity, and utilization. You will build dashboards and pipelines that unify infrastructure, usage, and billing data to drive revenue insights and efficiency.

You will leverage agentic tooling for automated analysis, collaborating with engineering, finance, and product teams to deliver fast, trustworthy answers at scale.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years in business intelligence, data analytics, analytics engineering, operations analytics, or a similar hands-on data role.
• Strong SQL, plus Python or a comparable language for data work.
• Daily proactive use of agentic AI tools with MCP connections to pull data from source systems.
• Interest in how a business works under metrics and drive to understand numbers fully.
• Ability to work with infrastructure and engineering teams to reason about systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and own data models behind fleet economics, capacity, and utilization.
• Build analytics capabilities and reporting for decision making and expand internal tooling.
• Create pipelines to integrate infrastructure, usage, billing, and customer data into a coherent view.
• Develop dashboards connecting operational performance to revenue, margin, and capital efficiency.
• Embed verification in the data layer to maintain trust as the product evolves.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, finance, product, and GTM teams to anticipate needs.
• Use agentic tooling to automate analysis and reporting, expanding scope for individuals.
