Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a BI/Data Analytics professional to design and maintain corporate dashboards using Power BI, collaborating with Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to deliver actionable data insights.

The role requires a BA/BS with 3–5 years of experience, strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge, and expertise in ETL tools (dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, ADF). Agile delivery and Jira familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with traditional data warehouse architectures.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI or similar).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; translate business needs into data solutions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (Databricks/Hive/Snowflake).
• Exposure to data science tools (Python, R).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, Azure Data Factory); Alteryx, Jira are a plus.
• Proven experience in data-driven initiatives using Agile/Scrum/Kanban; PMP or Scrum Master a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain corporate dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Finance and other teams to understand needs and priorities.
• Develop automated reporting and data pipelines to improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations and reporting logic.
• Define project scope, gather requirements and manage backlogs to deliver BI products.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends and translate findings into insights.
• Lead complex projects, influence partners, and communicate at executive levels.
• Establish data governance and validation rules for data consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with data engineering to optimize pipelines and improve data quality.

Location: Fremont, CA, Greenville, SC or Louisville, KY

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Corp wise or Cross Functional business domain dashboards and reports using BI tools, such as Microsoft Power BI or similar
• Partner closely with 3 or more in Supply Chain, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse, Traffic, Manufacturing, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Finance, or Accounting to understand business processes, reporting needs, and strategic priorities
• Develop automated reporting and data pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations and reporting logic
• Define project scope, gathering requirements, creating timelines, managing backlogs, and ensuring the timely delivery of BI products
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights
• Ability to lead complex projects, influence partners, and communicate effectively at both technical and executive levels
• Establish and enforce data governance, validation rules, and transformation logic to ensure data consistency across systems
• Collaborate with data engineering team to optimize data pipelines, ensure data quality, and improve data availability

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with traditional data warehouse architectures, such as centralized data warehouse, data mart
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data modeling concepts (start schema, dimensional modeling, semantic design)
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
• Solid understanding of historical, snapshot, and incremental data processing patterns
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g. databricks/Hive/Snowflake schemas)
• Exposure to data science tools or methodologies (Python, R, machine learning concepts, data bricks, snowflake)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, Azure Data Factory), Alteryx, and Jira.
• Proven experience managing data-driven initiatives using project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus
